The Durban Curry Experience is an intimate dinner series by Concepta's Studio, created to invite guests deeper into the food, stories and traditions of Durban's South African Indian culture.
These aren't restaurant dinners. They're experiences built around the way I know food best—shared around the table, served generously, and surrounded by conversation and community.
Each gathering explores a different chapter of Durban's food culture through a thoughtfully curated menu, storytelling, and traditions that bring the experience beyond the plate.
One dinner might take you into the streets of Durban through an iconic Bunny Chow. Another might explore the city's relationship with the Indian Ocean through seafood and curry. Another may introduce you to the traditions and celebration surrounding biryani.
No two Durban Curry Experiences are ever the same.
