Join us for Coastline & Curry, an intimate evening exploring another chapter of Durban's South African Indian food culture through seafood, storytelling, and communal dining on the Belfast waterfront.
Durban is a city shaped by the Indian Ocean, and seafood has long held a place in its food culture.
For this gathering, we'll bring that coastal story to the table through a few Durban seafood dishes, alongside a vegetarian curry and traditional accompaniments.
And there could hardly be a more fitting place to share this chapter of Durban's story than here on the coast of Maine.
From the warm waters of the Indian Ocean to the working waterfront of Belfast Harbor, Coastline & Curry brings two coastal places together around one table.
Hosted at the Belfast Boathouse, guests will gather around communal tables overlooking the harbor for an evening centered around food, storytelling, culture, and community. Weather permitting, we'll take the experience outdoors and dine along the waterfront.
No two Durban Curry Experiences are ever the same. Each gathering explores a different chapter of Durban's vibrant South African Indian food culture through thoughtfully curated menus, storytelling, and traditions that invite guests to experience a small piece of Durban itself.
Served family-style with welcome bites, traditional accompaniments, and something sweet for dessert.
This is not a restaurant service—it is a limited-seat gathering designed to slow down, gather around the table, share stories, and experience the warmth and generosity of Durban hospitality.

As each Durban Curry Experience features a unique menu and cultural experience, ticket prices may vary throughout the series.

This experience features fish and shellfish. A vegetarian curry will also be served. Due to the nature of this curated, family-style dining experience, we may not be able to accommodate all dietary restrictions or seafood allergies.
PLEASE NOTE
Tickets are non-refundable. Gratuities for our small team are appreciated but are not included in the ticket price.
